Where it comes from
Jasminum grandiflorum (Grasse, Egypt, India) and Jasminum sambac (motia, India) are solvent-extracted into absolutes. Flowers are picked by hand early in the morning.
How perfumers use it
With rose, the great “heart” flower of perfumery.
Did you know? Jasmine sambac, called motia or chameli in South Asia, is the flower of bridal garlands and gajras.

Absolutes contain natural allergens such as benzyl benzoate and must be labelled in the EU.
