Where it comes from
Distilled or extracted from the seeds of Abelmoschus moschatus (musk mallow).
How perfumers use it
A natural plant musk for fine, skin-like perfumes.
Did you know? Natural deer musk is no longer used in perfumery; ambrette is one of the few true plant musks.
For education only. Raw materials should be diluted for smelling and never applied neat to skin. Always follow the supplier’s safety data sheet and the current IFRA Standards.
