Where it comes from
Rosa damascena (Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran) is distilled into rose otto; Rosa centifolia (Grasse, Morocco) is mostly extracted as absolute. Flowers are picked by hand at dawn.

The most important flower in perfumery, used in almost every family.
Did you know? It takes roughly three to five tonnes of petals to make one kilo of rose oil.
